Mark Henley
Mark Henley is a British-born documentary photographer, based in the Palais.
His work appears regularly in the Swiss and international press, and has been the subject of a number of exhibitions, most recently in Athens for World Refugee Day, and in Geneva at the FIFDH.
Twice-named Swiss Press Photographer of Year, he is also a recipient of the Prix Nicolas Bouvier. His earlier work, particularly in China and India defined the process of economic and social changes that swept through Asia in the last decades, while his recent work in Switzerland has concentrated on examining more abstract subjects such as the end of banking secrecy, nuclear diplomacy, or prejudice against asylum seekers.
He is represented by Panos Pictures in London, and Jiji Press in Tokyo
